Site#0426 Award#3.5G022 5/5-6/5/2002 lattitudeLOFTYVEG - I found a consistent, fresh design, with many navigational choices. Pages are small and fast loading. Please don't throw the vegetable stickers away. My wife writes a newsletter about them called PLEASE STOP SNICKERING.
Score: Design:30/30, Navigation:29/30, Content:38/40 = 97%

Site#0431 Award#3.5G023 5/8/2001-6/13/2002 - 24K Gold Graphics - Is this a sneaky way to get a gold award? Any other color would CLASH with this fine site. Contents are timely, with an amazing amount of patriotic items entered since Sept. 11, 2001. Custom Services are provided for fancy family crests. Rounding out the collection is free clip art organized for fast selection. Here's what they did for Texas.
Score: Design:28/30, Navigation:28/30, Content:40/40 = 96%

Site#0453 Award#3.5G024 6/2-7/14/2002 It's the End of the World As We Know It...Again - An astounding amount of theories about past and future "ends of the world" is to be found here. Some pages are a little long, but they are crammed with cuteness. If the world blows up while you are reading this, you won't care.
Score: Design:28/30, Navigation:28/30, Content:40/40 = 96%

Site#0456 Award#3.5G025 6/3-7/14/2002 NurSpeak - This site is a content resource for nursing. Bottom navigation was tiny, but usable. Small pages permit fast loading. Graphics are small, useful and not distracting. It's too bad that I don't qualify for THEIR award. ;-( This is the kind of site that works very well on small systems.
Score: Design:29/30, Navigation:29/30, Content:40/40 = 98%

Site#0685 Award#3.5G027 4/6-23/2003 The Crystal Sea - This religious site contained many small pages that performed extremely well on the small computer. It will also be a fitting nomination for some of the UWSAG competitions. A previous review of an old version was still active, but I had not decided what to do about the old design yet. The current site is much improved and modular. There are some tolerance issues in their own award program, but that's the nature of religion.

Site#0565 Award#3.5G028 10/11/2002-5/21/2003 Brujah Haven - Tara has been patiently waiting, and has provided some comments in some recent forums, so I decided that I should take a look. Setup and load time for the home page was only a minute and a half. After that, the other high contrast small pages loaded quickly in about 15 seconds each. Left frame navigation was getting a bit long at 5 scrolls deep, but since section detail was indented and high contrast fonts were used, that's not currently a problem unless many more pages are added.
I did not have problems finding where I needed to go. Design appeared very European -- dark and modern. There are also extensive avatar and tube sections. Tara recently redesigned the site, and I am glad I waited for this one. Appearance is similar in Netscape 4 and Internet Explorer 6. I see nothing that needs upgrading by this criteria. The award section was also cleanly presented, with a tabular text award list.

Site#0565 Award#3.5G029 6/11-6/11/2003 World Fairy Awards - This is one of Kai-Uwe's excellent new award programs. I call it new because it was not yet in my award index, but it is now. The caution says that it looks best in Internet Explorer, but after checking that, I had no problems in Netscape 4. Stay away from iFrames and you will have no problem with me. Pages are small and quick loading. Standard frames with attractive border graphics are used for navigation. I will look at his own award later after I clean up some more external links.
