John C. Foster, webmaster, Texas Precancel Club
If the form is not working, please use this e-mail link. This particular e-mail link will add a subject line and a reminder in the body of the message.
I'm not playing games with guestbooks and passwords or weird requirements like why you want to win. I will send a manual receipt message and I will also respond to non-winners. Officially won awards will already be placed in the winners' page within a week or two. Your award should be linked to the Texas Precancel Club home page:
tx4.us/txpcclub.htm It shouldn't be that difficult to find this award section, and a homepage
link increments my meters and counters. You won the award. A link isn't required, but would be most appreciated. Please resist the urge to resize, squash or transmogrify this award into something that is unreadable.
I will respond to all applicants. Do not assume that you didn't win. It takes a lot of time to get familiar with the site and perform repeat visits. I may give an idea of what I have found or a suggestion for change. If you don't win you may reapply 3 months from the ORIGINAL application date after you have improved your site. If you won a merit award, you may apply for an upgrade 4 months after the award date (on the award). You must wait 5 months if you have a bronze award and 6 months after a silver award before trying again. Awards are not given merely in reciprocation for other awards. Please ask for one in a new message.
Please do not apply sooner. I will warn you about one early application. Any more than that will incur an additional 3 month waiting time penalty. My time is limited and others deserve an equal chance for a review. Remember, this is a very SLOW system, it must be rebooted and the cache must be cleared before each test.
I cannot keep checking day after day until you qualify.
NOTE: In May, 2003 there are about 70 sites awaiting review and I will notify both winners and non-winners. I am getting at least as many new sites to check as I finish. Checking the site load time on the small award machine takes the most time, especially for those site that SPECIFICALLY do not meet the criteria, and submit for an award anyway even though their site requires a high level of technology. All of the pending sites are being checked in no particular order for those which are easily disqualified, or easily awardable, to cut down the queue. A new status page will contain a tracking number and whether some checks have been completed.
