Navigation is notable for multiple methods: forward/back, graphical rollovers for IE and Netscape, multiple return pages and text navigation. The mailman clipart on the homepage was confusing. Site#0469 Award#3.5B049 6/17-7/14/2002 Disciples: Dark Prophecy - This is a game and strategy site that claims approval by the game maker. That is a good recommendation for "fan" sites. Navigation works, but a few things were named unexpectedly. I found a broken image on NetDisciples. One session switched to French somehow, but I didn't see an easy way to switch back to English. Site#0503 Award#3.5B050 8/5-9/6/2002 Jiuzhaigou - A Virtual Tour - This site is the result of two photographic trips to this Chinese province. Some personal insight and travel hints are also given. Some narrative gives the mood of the scene, but a map, directions, and more explanations of the pictures would help for more content on the site and a higher award. I might want to go there. Some navigation is used for the large photographs, better than just a graphic by itself. Background is black with high contrast text, so the photos will show up.
