Army Community Service Logo This logo represents The Cross, The Gyroscope, and The Heart, an idea associated with the giving of kindhearted help and stability. The image of the cross is taken from an organization whose purpose, among other things, was to provide help for the sick and needy Crusaders during the Middle Ages. This may have been the first organized program of individualized relief services in relation to an Armed Force. The cross, a symbol for help, the gyroscope, a symbol for equilibrium and stability are combined with a heart to reflect the program as a living sustaining force in the lives of the Army personnel and their family members. The color of the Army Green uniform and the gold buttons and insignia are combined in the emblem. The full circle represents the whole, or the Army Community. |

| #1454. Echoed Voices Great Site Award - May 8, 2002 - John, Congratulations! You have been named as a winner of the "Echoed Voices Great Site" Award. I viewed your site using Internet Explorer, MSN Explorer, and Netscape. For some reason, in the first 2 browsers, the text was huge and I had to horizontal scroll to read the pages, but it looked excellent in Netscape. That is why I like to view a page in the 3 different browsers I have. Your page was very informative and filled with lots of goodies. Not only am I impressed, but if truth be told, I am also a little envious of your talent. Though I have received several submissions, this is only the second award I have given out. I hope you enjoy it. Please email me with the URL of the page the award is posted on and I will promptly post a link to your page on my winners list. You may copy the attached award to your own computer and then paste the following code on your page so that the image is properly linked and framed. (if you would like to leave off the frame, you may do so by leaving out the [table] codes. Please leave the "alt" tag in place). Thank you for visiting our site and once again, Congratulations! Sincerely, Angela |
